I've heard giving Garlic is a good flea preventative might be worth a go
Dorwest do a garlic juice that I did use on Molly last year when her Flea Treatment would have been due(whilst in whelp)

Thanks for that Izzy_Molly.
Actually I forgot to say that I've been in touch with some friends of ours who are organic farmers and they have recommended a PureBliss product that is organic, free from pesticides, sls, parabens, fertilisers and genetically modified materials and comes in a spray or a dropper that you apply once a week. It works as a repellant.
