we have had loads of rain not a dry day in the last 6 fortunatly we live on a hill so no real flooding but the surrounding farmers fields and footpaths are waterlogged, we have been luckier than some as there is no property damage, zak loves all the wet weather, splashing in the brooks and swimming in a nearby lake, running in soaking wet long grass is a big thrill for him, we are trying to teach him to shake at 10 yards away, or else we get drowned too Exclamation Rolling Eyes

I didn't notice at the time, and have been away on holiday since, but you aren't far from us. There is a meet up planned for sunday 29th July at Pennington Flash. Ness (scubabe) is organising it. We seem to get quite a few organised in the northwest as there are lots of members around here. Look under lab liaisons and mini gts (gt= get together).

Do try and come if you're around. All are welcome, especially badly-behaved labs! Laughing Laughing Laughing
