To take things gently?!
Truly is sooo gentle. When I am giving her her treats doing her training etc she takes them so gently. Even tiny pieces of kibble that are in between my fingers she takes really nicely, if she cant get it she will turn her head away and just leave it.
Are they just instinctively gentle? She only snatched roughly for the first few days and I would just close my hand so she couldnt get it and only give it when she was nice, maybe that is why? She is 13 weeks tomorrow (how? lol)
Is it just her age and she will go the other way and start being rough when she gets older and then we will have to train her not to?

Fudge always takes things gently...but then like you I have trained from being 71/2 weeks to take things gently......I know people whose dogs snatch and nearly bite your fingers off and then say to me why can't mine be that gentle. I ask them if they have tried to train their dogs to be gentle and the answer is always no. lol
Well done you for being persistent...it pays off in the end

We have trained Truffs to be gentle. And she is gentle most of the time but she still nearly has your fingers off at times - though I tend to find this when she's a bit excited.
