Well Skye came home yesterday, she's my stud pup back from a mating to my dog Rogan, we are unlikely to breed Rogan's dam again so this was a perfect opportunity to maintain her line and I must say Skye is every bit like her granny Very Happy

I hope so John, the bitch line has a few names I haven't heard of but know they are good old fashioned working lines (Drumfarran for example) and also has eddie martins sealpin lines and should add a bit more bone into our kennel of labs, here's hoping the brain doesn't get lost in there or rattle around Wink

Hi Nicola

My you are going to be busy with Skye and the new pup coming from Ireland (or has he already arrived)? I thought long and hard about keeping a bitch and a dog from my litter but decided I would not be able to do justice to both. I am regretting it a bit know but there's always the next litter Smile Smile.

Let me know how you get on. I think I'd have to draw up some sort of timetable to ensure that I spent equal time training both pups. Then, of course, there's Rogan and your Spaniels ..........................
