Lol Jackie! I think it depends on the vet whether or not they notice how nice Archie's collar and lead are. Whenever Honey goes in wearing a new collar all the other nurses (and some of the vets) comment on it, of course collars and leads and things aren't everything, lots of love and attention is more important to the dog, but I would say in general if a dog has a nice collar etc, it's obvious that the owner loves them and puts thought into their welfare. Whereas if they have a manky one which is obviously uncomfortable, they are less likely to be bothered. The vet will certainly notice if a dog is clean and happy, and that combined with nice 'accessories' will certainly let your vet see how loved your dog is Very Happy
I'm absolutely not saying however that if you take your dog to the vets in a normal collar and lead, with no decorations or sparkly bits that they'll think you don't care, afterall, as long as it's clean and comfy, the dog couldn't care less Wink
I don't mind admitting that Honey is a bit of a 'baby substitute' to me so I think of it as if she was a child I wouldn't put her in the same clothes every day, but that's just me being a bit, erm, eccentric lol
Sorry for waffling on Rolling Eyes Laughing

Aww Geaorgia, you are not alone! I love buying lovely collars for Kyra, I dare say how many she has.... Embarassed It is definitely a matter of different tastes. We are all different and like different things. Before Kyruba I bought a gorgeous leather collar, very posh indeed, for £70!!!! Shocked And that was with a 50% sales discount!!!!! I know that might be a bit over the top but I fell in love with it and wanted Kyra to have a fabulous collar for her pavement walks... Laughing I also bought a £3 one and they did the job just fine and off course she could do rolls and swim in it and all she wanted as it didn't matter if it gt ruined. She now wears her Oklahoma alternated with other high quality ones everyday, even for walks and her Red Dingo for GTs and swimming, Laughing

It gives me pleasure to see her with lovely different collars for different occasions, and again that is just me, I have no children and my girls are my babies.... Embarassed

Again as long as they are clean and well looked after it doesn't matter what collar you put on them, as long as you like it and the dog is happy and comfortable waering it. Some enjoy spending a bit more to get what they want and some don't, that is cool! Vive la defference!!!!!! Wink
