well wot a storm it was at one point it was directly over us very lound bangs n the lightening lit up the whole house hundreds of homes are still without electricity today & some are flooded!! (& some of those are only just recovering from the earthquake damage) luckily we are fine the dogs werent too bothered tho they had a bark at the very loud bangs n wanted to go out to see what it was all about it was raining very hard n rushed out to see if there was anyone out there while they were out there was more thunder mambo had a bark n came running in he was more scared of the rain than the thunder!! mylo wasnt bothered about any of it i was quite surprised how did others dogs cope with the storm last night???
Ruby was surprisingly fine too - I thought she would be scared as she is scared of most things this is the first time she saw a proper storm and barely raised an eyebrow just shows you how good those CD's with noises on are doesnt it
I was more bothered than Cocoa was!
Having lost nearly all our electrical equipment in a storm about 5 years ago, I am a bit paranoid, and disconnected everything last evening!
We has torrential rain and SERIOUS thunder & lightning for almost 3 hours.
Cocoa went out to investigate, and looked up when it thundered and decided that he would prefer to be indoors after all. He then curled up and went to sleep!
we had a lovely thunderstorm last night round 9ish time huge forks of lighting and loud bangs charlie poor chap ran and hid under my chair..lol. rosze went to bed with her dad and brandy wasnt bothered..lol.
We had ours about 7.15 it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Boo isnt bothered at all which is good.
I was watching on the live lightning web site, there were 3 storms all very close & then 2 of them went into one!! My parents got it quite bad & lost power and the rain came through their bathroom window & kitchen door. Still not as bad a some.
Cant believe its the longest day tomorrow!!!! Last year I am sure we were sitting out in the garden untill 10.30 when its was still lightish & very warm!
We had a storm to and Miss Maggie wasn't impressed but not too bad Baxter dopey pup that he is sat in the middle of the garden watching the sky He'll watch the fireworks like that to given half the chance
