Because I am an indecisive bint I have bought 2 for Jake, who comes home in 11 days... a 32" for while he is a teeny pup and a 42" to accomodate growth.... both purchased for great bargain prices from ebay!
I am hoping that the smaller one to begin with will help with house training....
