Hi,
basically as the topic says what crate size do I need.

I am getting a labrador bitch from a working line, Mum and Dad are both small. I would like the cage to fit her when she is fully grown, not just when she is a pup.
I have seen some on ebay and looking through previous posts other people have them and say they are good.

Would you recommend a 36", 42" or a 48"?

Thanks
Simon.

I have a 48" crate but would say that a 42" would be more than enough.

My fully grown lab is in a 42 inch crate which is ample for him and he is a well built boy. Good luck with your pup.

I have just ordered Jack a 36in crate from ebay. I did have a larger one but he would not settle in it. Your lab should have just enough room to stand up, turn around and curl up.
