What a lovely tribute Jo.

I expect the tree will always be known as Coogies Tree and it will make you smile every time you hear someone say it.

But more than that, Coogie will always be in your heart and you get to keep the moments you shared with her forever.

If you're like me, everytime the wind whishes though the tree it's like he's there with you - weird but so true, Taggart has been running around this place with no wind, I find such comfort with it though - I know its Taggart guarding as he always did Laughing

What a beautiful tribute to Coogie.

Its so hard to let go , our old German shepherd cross passed over to the bridge 2years 2 months ago and we still have his casket of ashes in our cabinet with photos of him, we have never been able to bring ourselves to part with them Crying or Very sad

I think what you are doing is lovely a special tree where you can always sit and remember Coogie x x x x

Well the gardeners haven't been back as yet to plant the tree, so Coogie is still indoors. They will be back later in the week. I changed whereabouts the Golden Birch is being planted and decided that the other side of the archway would also need a tree. So off I went to the garden centre again today, they love me Laughing

They are delivering another tree this week and it's a Weeping Birch, more fitting for Coogie I think Smile

I have also decided that when the time is right i will be planting Snowdrops, Crocuses and Daffodils under the tree.

Pictures will be forthcoming as soon as it is planted.
