Three years ago an eye test revealed an abnormal vessel in my brain and i had to undergo life saving brain surgery at Southampton General hospital
We have a chocolate labrador called Archie and he is two years old.Archie has just been diagnosed with allergies.Archie has to take antihistamines and a steriod tablet every other day for his inflammatory bowel disease.He helped me when i was recovering from my illness and now i am looking after him in return.I wouldnt be without him,he is our first dog and he is wonderful

I'm Nikki, thirty something and living nr St Albans, Hertfordshire. I am Mum to Max (10 yr old black lab), Bruno (10 yr old choccy lab), Em (12 yr old lab x), Jess (10 year old Border Collie) and Sam (9 yr old terrier x). I also have 2 cats Ginge and Suzy.

Hi I' m tracey and am fairly new to LF, lurked around for a bit before joining properly. I live in Rusilip with my husband Kev and my 15 year son luke, we have a beautiful black 8 month Lab, Bess , 2 stroppy cats, Hobie and Albie, and a horse (although shes not kept at home).
We got Bess just before Christmas, I had a yellow lab when I was growing up and after much protesting from my OH decided it was time to have a lab back in my life, needless to say once we got her he fell in love with her. I had forgotten what hard work a puppy is, but it is such fun and so rewarding, I can't imagine life without her.
I will post some pics of Bess and the furry family when I get the hang of it.. will have to ask luke to sort it out.

I'm Jackie 44 married to Dean 51 (incidently 15years today 27th June) have 1 daughter Charlotte 5 and half. We live in the village hamlet of Clarborough, Retford, Notts for the past 15 years.
We breed exhibition poultry as a hobby and have done so for 40 plus years. We have had yellow labs all our married life. Bracken and Bons are no longer with us but running happily at the Bridge.
We have a new lilltle pup Lillie who is nearly 6 months old yellow too. She's amazing she's a real fighter as we nearly lost her a few weeks ago. But she's now fighting fit and fully recovered.
