bailey is booked in for his 1 year booster and general checkup tomorrow evening. i just know she will comment on his weight - again. we have managed to drop his weight from 42kg to 40kg in last couple of weeks, and have been really strict on his diet this week, but just know we will get a lecture again. the vet is usually fine, but theres 1 vet nurse for lectures us about him everytime we go. shes the same one that insisted we put him back on puppy food until he was over a year old cos he needed the protein. aagh.

I've found a lot of vets have different opinions on weight - one told us Leo was overweight at 38kg, another said he was "well covered" and another said he was just fine! Confused

To be honest some of the vet nurses seem to give out advice willy nilly, sometimes even contradicting what the vet has said. It does all get very confusing!!

Good luck at the vets - sure the vet will see his weight is going down and be pleased with that.

Just let it go over you, tell her its feeding Bailey all that protein til he was 1 thats made him what he is now, so its her fault if she considers him fat Laughing Laughing

Your doing what you can to get his weight down and its working, so I wouldn`t worry about what she says Smile
