Can I just say on behalf a HUGE/MASSIVE THANKS to Jill, who today although the traffic was horrendous (so I am told) helped to transport the 2 Chocolate boys from the Pound where they were due to be PTS to LRRSE.
Thanks also to Kay for her part in posting and putting up with my numerous PM's and to Jane and Clair for bumping.
We got them out..........thank you
You can read the story of their journey (and some pics) here
Baxter already has a home lined up and I am sure it wont be long before Campbell does, we think they maybe Father and Son Last edited by littlelab on Sun Jun 03, 2007 8:15 am; edited 2 times in total

It means 'put to sleep' which is what many council run pounds do, but there are many rescues like RDR that get them out

Awww have just seen this Nat, thank you! I was happy to be able to help.
Have to say it was my privilege and pleasure to help transport these wonderful lads to safety and the hope of a new home.
They were gorgeous, albeit a bit smelly in Campbell's case and moulting like nobodys business in Baxter's case.
They were so friendly and absolutely no trouble on what turned out to be a pretty horrendous journey traffic wise
Here are a couple of pics of the lads (Nat, I will join and post them on RDR a little later)
Baxter, gorgeous old gent .......................................... Campbell, lovely stinky lad!
Good luck boys. You deserve happy, loving homes.
