It is with a very heavy heart that I am posting this to say goodbye to my beloved black lab Tara. She was my soul mate. I had to make the heart rendering decision to end her life on Saturday 26 May. It is only now it is beginning to sink in the extent to which I have lost something so precious to me. She was just short of her 14th birthday. She was only with me for 5 and a half years, but they were the best time. She leaves behind Jess, my chocolate lab who has been her companion for all that time.

She was the bravest girl, fighting paralysis and in the end succumbing to cancer. She was a real one off.

Rest in peace, sweet Tara and look after all our friends at the Bridge.

All my love, my darling.
