Hello I was wondering if anyone has any info on my dog's bloodline.I was told his family produces field trial champions. His pedigree includes Pocklea Remus,Middlegate Cleo of Glebespray,Baildonian Baron of Craighorn,Kenue Cedar,Haretor Mark of Drakeshead,Tasco Dan,Pocklea Tide of Middlegate,Gillmhor Arrow of Pocklea,Theoweir Turramurra Teal,Croftweit Solo,Any info on these dogs would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi there
Welcome to lab forums.
F.T.Ch. Haretor Mark of Drakeshead also appears on the last line of my Monty's five generation pedigree. The only things I know about him is that he was a field trial champion and his colour - black - and the fact that he seems to have been a very busy lad! I've seen his name appear on quite a number of different pedigrees via the forum.
Good look with your search for info.

OK, home now. I'll talk about one dog, FT Ch Baildonian Baron of Craighorn. Baildonian Baron was born on the 20th of July 1994. Bred by Mr G Tinsley, he was out of Baildonian Tina and by Gillmhor Arrow of Pocklea. Baron was sold to Tom Smith, who added his Craighorn suffix. His hips were very good at 2/1. In 1997 he achieved the distinction of giving Tom Smith 3rd place in the IGL Retriever Championship. He was well used at stud, and in March 1998 was mated with Shadowsquad Britanya. On the 12 of May that year Britannias Seraph was born. I went to see the litter five weeks later and this little puppy attached herself to me, became Anna, and has not left me from that day. Baron was sold to Mike Stewart of the Wildrose kennels in America in 2002. Have a look here for a writeup and photo of that wonderful dog:-
Honey has Gilmhor Arrow of Pocklea, Pocklea Remus and Drakeshead too. Quite closely related. Have a look at her pedigree on a few postings before this "Honeys five generation pedigree.' Do you have the whole pedigree? Nice to meet you!

Thanks for everyone's info.John you were very helpful. My dog's mother Broadlaw Erica was sired by Baron .He mated with Kenue Cedar .My dog Finderlie Coot was imported by Wildrose Kennels. Thanks again and i would love to talk more with you to find out more about these dogs.
I believe Erica was litter stster to FT Ch Broadlaw Eva, who was bred and handled to her title by Billy Steel Jnr.
When it comes to Baron and his pups, My Anna has been such a wonderful example. She has sat beside me behind the guns picking up on driven Pheasant shoots. We've been out together at dawn, out on the stubble picking up duck and goose for a couple of friends. We've had some lovely days working the hedges and spinneys on my friend's little rough shoot. She's a dog who you never need to tell what you want, she just reads your mind and does it. There is no doubt Baron sired some wonderful dogs!
