Thats it, thats what drives me on when you have a bad day 
Although I do realise I don't have the best dogs in the show sense of the word many days and that does firmly keep my feet on the ground too
I think whilst we joke that we 'take home the best dog' to comfort ourselves its important we realise that most often we actually 'don't' as such Keeps us striving for higher.... not sitting on our hands with our breeding / buying programme....
I Also think to myself - 'I'll be running these self same dogs in novice and open working tests tomorrow with, hopefully, creditable results - what will YOU be doing with YOURS Sir/Madam?' as the judge says 'thank you the rest' chuckle...- Grin at my blatent disgusting self congratulating....)
