Took Bails to the local reservoir for the first time today, He LOVED it, we had a PANIC as after he had paddled for 5 mins, he decided to venture further, lost his footing and fell further in, it was VERY VERY windy, and the current was strong and started pulling him away from shore, this all happened in about 3 seconds, I shouted him to come! He swam to me, only a couple of doggy paddles, but he swam!!!!. He really wasnt in any danger, as my other half who is a fit fireman was with us, and would have paddled in to get him out, but was so proud he did it all alone. LOL. He was so happy when he came to me, he couldnt keep his bum still and started Butt-tucking on the beach! LOL
Here are some pics.

Great to hear Bailey enjoyed his first dip! You won't be able to keep him out of water now

Sounds like he had great fun, what a cracking pup.
Just wait until he sees a stretch of water again, there will be no stopping him.
