Took Bails to the local reservoir for the first time today, He LOVED it, we had a PANIC as after he had paddled for 5 mins, he decided to venture further, lost his footing and fell further in, it was VERY VERY windy, and the current was strong and started pulling him away from shore, this all happened in about 3 seconds, I shouted him to come! He swam to me, only a couple of doggy paddles, but he swam!!!!. He really wasnt in any danger, as my other half who is a fit fireman was with us, and would have paddled in to get him out, but was so proud he did it all alone. LOL. He was so happy when he came to me, he couldnt keep his bum still and started Butt-tucking on the beach! LOL Very Happy Very Happy

Here are some pics.

Sounds like he had great fun, what a cracking pup. Very Happy

Just wait until he sees a stretch of water again, there will be no stopping him.

He's gorgeous! How old is he? I've been trying to coax Bournville into the water this week (He's 5 months). He's paddled up to the top of his legs & then done a big bum-tuck-run but he just won't take the plunge!
