CUZ toys - has anyone bought one recently? Possible Fake.

Only the other day I posted on a thread saying how great and durable these were.

So today we bought 'bad cuz' and within 10 minutes he has lost his foot. Evil or Very Mad

Have they started making these differently? Could this be a fake?

I haven't kept the packaging so probably can't take it back now (they'll not believe it lasted only 10 minutes)

Look his foot is different, its hollow (pic taken just before his accident when i realised it was only chews away from being one legged).
Bad cuz is red....

Well after reading your post Sarah i went straight to look at our stock of Cuz's & yes you seem to be right they have changed the design now!!! Shocked

We have some old ones in with solid feet & the new ones that came in last week now have hollow feet!! So no you haven't bought a fake. The company that make them (made in China) obviously have found a cheaper way in making them! I have a rep in tomorrow & will put it her !!! Wink

Yes we've got an old style bad cuz with solid feet, mind you Bosun still chewed both his feet and his cute little horns off!!

Toys are not allowed to have labels or appendages in this house - they must be chewed off!!! Rolling Eyes

Thanks Bernie, please do mention it to the rep. These toys are now no good for strong chewers like Basil Sad

(and the other solid foot ones have lasted over 6 months) I know they are not meant as chew toys but Basil thinks all toys are for chewing.

ok so by all accounts it was sheer luck that my old cuz's survived this long Smile

oh well another toy firmly crossed off the list. Pretty muvh its going to be just Kongs left soon.
