Not all members have stopped posting because they disagreed with the way the forum is run, to be fair. Some have a change of job some are told by their husbands they are getting obsessive (grin) and some for other reasons. Lets not think they all left because of the admin policy changes which appears to have come through in the last 2 months or so.

Not saying it all to do with the admin side of things but some members feel they cant put they point across without getting slapped for it ... If I spoke my mind the way I do in my world( business mind talking now ) I would have been kicked off months ago but I like to think that we could just have a discussion without thread been locked etc etc ...
As my name has been dragged into this I think it right that I have something to say.
Becs stated that Rhoni's thread about the travellers was racist. And that of course must follow that if you write something racist then you are racist. Therefore, Becs called Rhoni racist.
I got very annoyed about that and posted that I felt Rhoni should be given a public apology.
Later Becs posted on another thread and I made an insulting remark, which I later apologised for. I was out of order and apologised FOR THAT REMARK AND THAT REMARK ONLY. I was, and still am, disgusted at Becs treatment of Rhoni. Becs chose to go. Why I dont know. Maybe she realised she had overstepped the bounds of decency? Possibly. But why ever it was, it was not Rhoni, Kay, Karen, Clair or any one of the mod's fault, yet you all seem intent on tearing them to pieces. I've seen this on other forums and been on the receiving end of it but I did not think I would ever see it here. I think it better if you all step back for a moment and think about what you are doing. This has all the appearance of a blood lust.
Like I said John this post has gone off topic and feel I cant put on the information that Rhoni has asked for ..... I ve not once said its the Mod's fault and Rhoni knows how I feel on the subject of Travellers so can we all please go back to what this thread was for " Information on travellers site's Please " and move the debate to somewhere else .....

I understand it must be a very difficult job being a mod and I think you guys are great, but it just feel it all got a little bit much lately, I do share the views that some threads got locked for no reasons. I appreciate the going off topic but if the thread doesn't get upsetting, in my humble opinion, even if it goes off topic, there is nothing wrong with it.... I might be wrong but I just find it excessive. It is all getting too strict and political and we are loosing lots of great contributing members. Is that how you want LF to go? I think a more relaxed approach is needed before it's too late... Only my humble opinion....
