Ohoho be VERY careful with the strawberries - does he like them already? We found out that Rosie lurves strawberries (and is also quite happy to dispose of the stalks). I then noticed her nibbling at an alpine strawberry plant that hangs around the garden and occasionally produces fruit, and then when we actually planted some last year found she had no aversion to PYO!! We put a gate up in the end to keep her off the veg patch altogether.
She's quite handy for disposing of the ones the birds nibble/that go squishy however, hence her 237th nickname of the canine composter.
