Just had another thought. Our garden has a separate yard area that has stones and block paving etc. Could we use this area for the puppy for toilet training as its separate to the main lawn and barked area but smaller of course.
Im open to ideas as i would prefer not to keep him on his lead when taking him out

Enzo also likes the taste of the bark we recently laid. Ours was from B+Q and we were careful what we used.
He just likes to nibble it now and again, but doesn't seem swallow it...we've seen no side effects.
Strange though, aswell as nibbling Enzo also likes to pee on it too (different areas to those he nibbles at! )....

We have purchsed some chicken wire and made a 24" high perimeter fence to keep him off, so far its working well
