Parent size affects puppy size.... there are large working line dogs and small, there are large show line dogs and small. Show lines TEND to have denser bone, more coat and tail and more breadth of skull, but aren't necessarily atller or larger or longer in body, often working lines whilst less well off for bone, tend to be longer from withers to tail and longer of leg.... so uits swings and roundabouts really.

Think of your pups parents, height and structure weise, find pics of dad if the breeder didn't give you any, and then think your pup will probably be somewhere like mum if a bitch and somehwre like dad if a dog at maturity.

There is definately no exact science./ Some lines grow fast to maximum height and the take years ot fill out and mature. Some grow slowly in the first year and add much more between 12 and 18/20 months.

Thankyou again Diana!

You give such bril advice and info Very Happy

Her mum and dad are both big, her dad is really chunky, very muscular looking, very broad and has a huuuuuge head. Her mum is quite long but more feminine looking, very pretty, more slender, but Id def say she is bigger than alot of mature girls Ive seen. So maybe my Truly will be more like that then and is just a chunk now as she is so young still. Not that it matters how she will look, its just I find it interesting and want to learn how it all 'works', so thankyou for your help Very Happy
