My bitch's dam is out of Brentwood Bruno, I know he is from working lines and as produced at least one offspring who is working.
Doe's anyone know if he as any titles himself or know if he is as any offspring with titles?
Just being nosey it's not too important I like to know what’s behind my bitch’s lines
I am more interested in the show side of things and was wondering if having working in the lines helps or hinders the pedigree?
Thanks for any help

Can you list any of the dogs from the 3 or 5 generation pedigree certificate? That usually helps.
Helen.

Brentwood Bruno dfoes not appear to have any titles, he definately does not have any show titles he may be a Field Trial Winner but is not a FT CH. I am unaware of him.
Explain more about what you mean by 'does having working lines hinder the pedigree?' Do you mean should you wish to SHOW the dog? Then, truthfully, probably yes. It will probably just remove a little substance from the dog. A little bone. A little planeing to the head and a little 'otterness' to the tail. These are not necessarily bad things in themselves, some show lines are very overdone, although those you mention are not usually to any great degree (and certainly their success speaks volumes about how acceptable their dogs are to the showring).
The bitch line dogs are field lines. So from the dogs you list only 3 are from show lines, just to give you an idea... 7 are field bred to the greater degree.
Not necessarily much help to you in finding our if 'bruno' has titled children but he hasn't got show titled children. Possibly working... although I don't believe so. As a dog strongly chocolate and with some show lines in him it would be something I'm sure that would have sneeked to my attention.

Thanks for taking the time to reply
I mean my bitch as working lines just on her dams Sire side the rest is show lines but she seems to me to look and acts more working and this as come out in her last litter even though I used a stud from strong show lines, could just of been a bad choice of stud I don't know.
The offspring of Bruno's I was talking about is Bon Bourbon Boy own by Copperwheat labs - who is now a fully trained working gundog so I have been told don't really understand what this means as I don’t work my dogs although would be very interested in what is involved.
On the whole she as been assessed by a well known breeder and she is sound and I am hoping to have a litter from her and keep a puppy back to show but hope the working side of her pedigree does' not come through to much.
