Is there a Mr Stevens as well as a Mrs Stevens, Alison? We have one judging lab males and one lab females.

She doesn't count teeth does she? Wink Laughing

I would doubt she does very strongly....

Any news on your breeders showing your girl and their thoughts on getting her 'confirmed' and your future showing her??

Hello Maddie,
next time you have questions about a French judge, do not hesitate to ask...we take part in shows in France (with an English dog !!!) and could tell you who is fussy and who is not. Wink

She has 4 premolars missing (one on each jaw left, right, top and bottom). Quite common, so I have been led to believe but not good in France. In the UK the judges look at the bite (she has a perfect bite), they do not count teeth (not in labradors anyway). In France they do! LOL!

Anywaaaaay, just spotted another show in August with a UK judge....mmmm, very interesting. Laughing Laughing

Hi maddie
I may be moving over to france in the summer, wondering where you find the shows to go to?

Hi Valerie - we must have just missed you at Montluçon - we were in the ring next door. My girl's dad is Tam O'Shanter - he came second to your boy and I was ringside watching that class! Laughing

He is a very handsome boy you have. Blue is French but as you will have read she doesn't have full dentition. We are entered into a show this weekend - but Laplagne is the judge but I don't think we shall be going. The next is the RE in Pitou Charentes at the end of August then the NE at Sully in September.

At Montluçon I was trying to get my baby to sleep in a baby carrier around the ring, you might have noticed us Embarassed
Thanks to tell me that our Logie is handsome...Mme Drouillard liked him (or my husband Wink )
We will go to the Nationale d'élevage as well. In between we are going to Brussels, and might do a CAC show during the summer, not far from where we live (ie Brittany).
Hope that we meet one day !
Valerie

Mme Drouillard did not like me, one bit. She said to me "Madame, you must socialise your dog more" in that voice of hers! I was so busy worrying that a stray gordon setter came into the ring and peed on Blue's head! Not good!

We will see you at the NE (if Blue does not come into season)!! My husband is coming too. I expect he will be bored, he does not like shows. We won't do well but it is nice to come along and see all the other lovely dogs.
