Did anyone else go? We took two of our dogs for a bit of fun on the scurries, and also entered the BASC Working Test as my first 'proper' structured test with Alfie.
The scurries were great fun and very friendly. They also showed me I need more work on water with young Alfie, as my old dog Purdey wooped us on the time, despited being 6 years older and riddled with arthritis!
The test I was quite apprehensive about as the first retrieve was a marked dummy, but with 2 lines of fencing between us which the dog either had to jump, or work its way around. However Alfie just got on with it and that helped to settle MY nerves!
Followed by some heel work, a blind over a bale and then 3 blinds in cover.
The judges were extremely kind and encouraging, and I was so relieved to have finished without humiliating myself that I left without checking my scores. DOH!
Does anyone know if there is someway of finding out what our scores are? Would it be on a website somewhere maybe?
