after our fun today i thought it would be good to arrange another one! Very Happy

anyone up for it? We fly to America on the Monday for 2 weeks and its be nice to do something good with Coal before we go and wear him out a bit so we can pack!!!!! hee hee

Would people prefer somewhere to swim (i mean for the dogs!) or not fussed?

How far is Millenium Park, Marston Moretaine - see here http://www.marstonvale.org/index.html for everyone? you;d come off at Jnuc 13 M1 and travel towards Bedford and its about half way between the 2.

As it'll probably be hot it is nice to let the dogs cool off with a swim, especially as we'll be there at midday and I have two black dogs!!

Marston Moretaine is about an hours drive for us, as we'd avoid the M1 roadworks.

Looks nice but might be popular for family outings too? Has anyone been there?

My friend Ruth says that the park is in a figure of 8 and the bit round the lake is usually fairly quiet and there are lots of little paths branching off that lead down to the lake edge so lots of swimming opportunities....

families do use if for biking round but its quite scrub like/natural environment looking so not open picnic sort of areas if that makes sense???

does this sound ok
