Dog Walkers

Hi Folks,

We've had a change of circumstances at work - as a result we need to find a dog walker/sitter for Bailey.

I have thought of advertising but it might take too long. I've checked yellow pages etc for a dog walking service in my area (Glasgow) and can't find anything. Rolling Eyes

Can anyone recommend a website or company that could do this? Reputable of course - I don't want my Bailey left with just anyone. Crying or Very sad

It's probably only going to be for a couple of weeks - as the kids stop school at end of june and I'll need to find someone who takes dogs and kids! Shocked

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried your vet - they usually keep a list of dog walkers - though you'd probably have to vet them yourself. It may also be worth contacting local trainers to see if they can recommend anyone.

Have you tried www.petpals.co.uk ? I use the lady based in my area and she is brilliant.
Have a look maybe they have someone in your area. Fingers crossed

I checked petpals and there isn't one in the Glasgow area! Crying or Very sad

I called the vet but they don't know of anyone in the area either!

Tried the usual - Yellow Pages etc and still can't find anyone! i would really have liked to use a reputable company (like petpals) - as putting an advert in normally attracts all sorts of weirdos.

If anyone hears of dog walker/sitter in Glasgow could they let me know.

It appears a perfect business opportunity for someone! Shocked

That info was from a older Yellow Pages. Just checked a more up to date one. The one's I gave you are still there and there are a few more entries under Pet Services and there is also a new category - Home and Pet sitting - which also seem to have a few
