Annually mine would mount up due to flea/ worming etc plus pet sitting when required but at least I can see my monthly avg spend is normal/ low! Smile

Nicola, mum is generous Smile but most probably every 2nd/ 3rd month I'd only have to buy 1 x15kg bag or none at all. George is more or less the correct weight and Charlie needs to lose about 2kg now. The vet has said this is due to treats and we've lessened the treats and upped the exercise, which is working as they've lost about half a kilo each! (wish someone would control my food Laughing )

My mum is like that with her dog - has to have something breakfasty for breakfast and he often gets some tea and toast Rolling Eyes lol

Kayc - I'm sorry for posting this! lol that must have been a big shock! The price we pay for our labs! It could be like the credit card adverts £, treats £/ dog collars/£ food/ insurance - the love and happiness of our labs....priceless Laughing

I'm not going to count!

Today I bought a new dog bed £25, treats £3, Toys £9 and the pet insurance came off £11 (M&S - very cheap)

Thats only in one day!!!!!!!

So not a good idea to count up how much this loveable mutt is costing me!

Dont want to do the maths...too scary!

I do know that ive found something happening. When i had babies i always used to find myself browsing the baby aisle during my weekly shop...just for that extra something - Now? I'm siddling quietly down the pet aisle..is therre a new toy she needs...some new treat....AAGH!

Why did i read this post Crying or Very sad .....

All i can say i'm thinking of moving to UK... No wonder the pet store guys always tell me "No one buys as much as you...Frodo is blessed to be with you".....

The other day my mom said it was a waste to indulge in expensive toys for frodo as he just destroys them in one minute flat... she said feed the poor instead.... Its so true i live in a country which is home to so many people who sleep hungry and here i am spending all i have on frodo.... I'm so confused..... But no doubts that frodo does not deserve toys he's very destructive Confused

Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
