Well done Nicola and Blue, onwards and upwards !!, were you able to get a word with the judge like you wanted?, thats if this was the english one you mentioned.
I will just add to this that Nic was a COMPLETE star yesterday. It was the first show EVER that both I and Asha have been too - I was really nervous.
But Nic was my hero - everso professional, talked me through what to do, what happens on the day, what the judges are looking for, and generally made sense of the whole experience for me!

And I have to say, from the odd vid I've seen on here depicting a show in the UK, I had the impression we'd be in a village hall-type setting. But no, this was a bl***y HUGE expo hall, with over 1000 dogs. Honestly, it was MASSIVE And according to Nic, this is small for France
Blue is totally gorgeous, a real babe. And she's so laid back compared with Asha, who was leaping about like Tigger (I have a small vid I took on the camera of the two of them playing with one of Asha's toys ... give me a day or two and I'll see if I can upload it ). Personally I thought Blue should have had a place - sure, she was a little shy with the judge, but she did a really perky circuit, and stood beautifully. The judge was def favouring an odd-looking guy in too-tight trousers, and a woman in blue jeans who I think he fancied
And I was so so proud of my girl. Regular readers will know Asha is a little shy and submissive with other dogs, but even in this VERY intimidating environment after a wobbly first half hour she was straining at the lead to sniff bums with the best of them
CALLY!!!! You can't say the judge fancied that woman, his wife might read this! PMSL!! NO the lady in question has some superb dogs, and I've seen her at every show I've been to and she inevitably gets placed every time!! (Whether a male or female judge ) I feel a bit of a wally for not remembering her name though!! If I remember rightly, her dogs are either Linjor and/or Showmetheway lines.
Cally is very flattering, I am a complete novice but after 4 shows now at least I know the order of events and what to expect in the ring.
Cally and I were fortunate to have had the company for some of the day of a very charming Spanish breeder called Mr Manuel de Zubira who chatted to us both. Because he chatted to us some of the other breeders talked to us too! He had entered 2 TW dogs, both in a working class (travail - his dogs were trialers too). Sadly he just missed out on having his dog made up to Champ by the skin of his teeth, which was a huge shame. His bitch came second. Both lovely dogs.
