Hi Philippa

What I really want to know is what your husband looked like when the cat fell in!! lol

My boys love water, anything they can actually get into. The deeper the better! They constantly 'go fishing' under the water etc. They dont however like being wet with the hose pipe or any kind of shaking water from wet hands onto them!?

Jack is 6 months old and he used to hate water but I would take him to the lake everyday and throw in treats and he loves it now. He won't jump in because he doesn't like the water going over his head. Now we can't keep him out of the pool, he has become a retrieving fool!

Thanks everyone - very interesting!

Was laughing my head off about the cat!

My partner has a plan to get him used to it!

I think the trick with throwing the treats in the water might work! He loves his grub and hoovers up anything.

Oh it must have been the heat!

We took Bailey to the local park (which has a Loch) and after a while he wandered in! Not for long though and was a bit wary after being in just once!

Maybe this is a breakthrough!

Beach next!
