Well i entered quite a few of the classes, Lucy got one 2nd in Waggiest tail Very Happy So am happy with that but did feel a bit disappointed as she did so well in all of them.
The judge obviously didn't favour labs!
She actually said to a lady who had a 7mth choccie, who we became quite friendly with, 'its a lovely dog, a shame about the colour!'

Anyway i enjoyed my day and Lucy is very tired, got there at 10.20 and just got home now. Very Happy

I was watching the scurry and wished i'd have had a go now! Laughing

I will find out who was judging, as it was run by LRRSE, so it should of been a labby person, and to come out and say that about a lab is disgusting !!!!!

Well done Linzi and Lucy.

Thanks Tammy Very Happy

I did overhear someone asking what dogs she has and she said deerhounds.
There was a big variety of dogs there! from cheasapeake bay, labs, terriers, basset hound, bloodhound! Shocked But it was nice to see so many people with their dogs. Very Happy

Hello there, sorry didnt get chance to speak to you again before you went, it was me who booked you and Lucy in Laughing
Waggiest tail is a very improtant class for a labby to win Laughing Did you enter the fastest bonio eater too, I cant remember now? I think it was won each day by a lab (no surprise there eh?) it was done on a stopwatch and the time for the winner on Sunday was 9 seconds Shocked
It was a real labby gathering today, there were lots of other breeds there too but definately more labs today than either of the other two days.
Sorry you felt the judge was not a lab person. Its true she does have terriers and deerhounds herself, but its very difficult to be impartial as a judge. If I was judging I would have had every lab win a prize, but then the owners of other breeds would be gunning for me Evil or Very Mad
I hope you enjoyed the show anyway, and maybe we will see you again at another show soon

Hiya,

No i didn't enter the bonio one, Lucy would have eaten it but in her own time, crunching it on the floor Laughing

Oh not to worry about the judging, just a little surprised at her comment. Judging dogs is hard as you will always have a fav breed/group me included!

I enjoyed my day and you will probably see me at the chilterns show in July, went to that last year. Very Happy
