Laughing Laughing

its is SO embarrasing when they act this way, the other day we were out on a walk & i saw a couple of friends that we know from dog training, they are a nice couple about my parents age & are very respecable, so imagine my horror when we stop to talk & jansen launches himseflf at both of them all waggy tail & licking... !!! fortunately they were very understanding as they know all the hard work i put in with him, i still wanted to ground to swallow me up tho. Embarassed

good to know i'm not alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this morning we went in and out the front door at least ten times until he got the idea not to yank me down the path.... and it wasn't even as if i wanted to go for a walk... just needed to load him into the car!

shall keep working on it. trouble is someone else walks him on the 4 days at work.. so i put in lots of effort on my 4 days off and then 4 days later - he forgotten it all! grrrr

at least mornings and evening are getting lighter so might be able to do some work on my work days too

off to practice getting out front door............... wish me luck

I use Danny's Halti to begin with, once he's settled I then take it off - or I clip the lead to his collar and leave his halti on (if you know what I mean)... for some reason, if he has been on the halti for the first 5/15 minutes he calms right down Rolling Eyes
