Hi

I just bought a couple of big sheets off ebay. Darcy's destroyed every bed we've bought him so we've wasted alot of money so far Mad . The crunch came when he ate the bottom plastic tray of his crate so to avoid him having to sleep on the bars I got this vet bed. It's very thick and fluffy but with firm backing so it's a bit like a soft rug. I was hoping it would be Darcy proof but he's managed to rip strips out of it - but the good thing is that it's just strips and not tons and tons of white fluff. I also bought so much of the stuff that I've got plenty to last for ages and I spent £40, but if this doesn't work he'll just have to put up with the fleece blankets (which he's only ripped the edges off!)

Such a shame as you want them to be comfy but if they're determined to be little g**s then what can you do? Rolling Eyes

It's fab stuff... I got my first one at crufts last month and its superb!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Usually Danny's bedding doesn't last two minutes, but he seems to like this, although he does drag it round the house given the chance!!! Rolling Eyes

After Harvey ate so many beds, he now has a piece in his basket Smile The only thing he's never chewed! Fantastic!

If you get the 'real' Vetbed it is fantastic. Washes well and lasts for years and years and years.

As I said in one of my previous postings I have had one of my three for over 20 years and another over 15. The big one for the bottom of the new crate is under a year old.

The only thing I would say is, that if it comes with a label on the back, try and take it off as dogs seem to like the taste of the adhesive.

Yes the Vet beds are great. I have two, average size and they cost me £15.00 each. They wash and dry really well. I have one in his bed and one in the car. It's funny because it's the only thing that Henry doesn't drag around the house!!

I would definfately get one

We also use vet bed in the bottom of Harley's crate and have done since he was a pup. As mentioned previous it washes well and dries really quickly. We also bought some nice new vet bed from Crufts this year.

It's good stuff!
