Wow, lots of replies Thankyou
Alison, Yes Chelmsford on 7th May and Southend think it's the week after same place.(if were both ready will be there )
My OH would support me as long as it's not everyweekend, My boys are 9,10 and 13, i do worry if they may find it boring, but until i try i don't know. My 10 year old is the doggy one, he has come training with me every week for the last 2.5 years bless him.
My mum and dad live next door so they would look after Bailey, i do feel guilty about this because i have a love of this breed because of him, i was interested to read what Sue wrote about Hallie, entering her but not showing her.

showing addictive? Yes - very - get a rosette of any colour and that's it!
How many shows do you attend in a year? Being up near Aberdeen we did 14 shows last year (7 Champ). Compared to Alison, I am a mere novice!!!!
Do you say i going to attend so many but then go to more? Missed a couple of shows due to Jenna being in season, but other than that, try to go to as many as possible.
Do you show more in the winter/summer or about the same? Seems to be quite steady throughout the year. Missed a couple of shows around New Year as Jenna was in season. Can be quiet in July.
Are your other halfs behind you and those of you who have children are they fine with it? Other half is very enthusiastic - already trying to qualify for Crufts next year and has just entered Midland Counties at Stafford next month!!
Do you go on your own or do your families come with you? We go together and take our GSD with us (entered NFC). Although on overnight stays, OH happy to go himself and does quite well!!
Great posting and very interesting to read what others do. Often think we would be better based in England, then I saw the traffic around Birmingham at Crufts!!!

I was in Sheffield that day and arrived at the NEC junction just after the group judging - was pleasantly surprised how light the traffic was - having in the past spent several hours on that stretch of motorway to go 2 or 3 miles
