This morning whilst putting Jack on his school transport a beautiful wiebramar(sp) was wondering round all the gardens on our road...He obviously knew the area but was unable to find his way home....so after putting Jack on his bus we went across the road and coaxed "Oscar" to come to us...

We put Alfies lead on him and this beautiful gentle giant just happily walked with us home....We called "Buckley House" our vets and took him down...(he sat like a sargent major in the back of the car!!!) and luckily he was chipped....

We have reunited Oscar and his mum and I feel like I have really achieved something....His mum apparently left him asleep in his bed...how and why he got out we don't know...they live a few streets away and we had never seen "Oscar" when walking Alfie....

I totally understand now how Lost Labs feel when they have a happy ending...think this feeling will last a long time...although OH has fallen totally for "Oscar"...Alfie as usually has had his walk and is lying in the sun....totally unaware of anything...
