Hello

my brother is home alone whilst my parents are away in Australia... in typical male fashion he wants to use the dishwasher instead of doing it himself!!!

But -also in typical male fashion - he CAN'T SWITCH IT ON!!!!

he says he's plugged in turned on, the on button is 'on' and he's selected his setting but there is no 'go' button.......

can anyone help?

I have Bosch rather than Indesit, but I would say, is the water supply turned on, or did your parents turn it off for safety before they went away? If it is turned off then dishwashers and washing machines should have a safety cut-out which will prevent them from turning on and becoming a fire hazard.

Typically male, though, not being able to turn it on. Laughing

there is a little button to the left of the program select dial called start/reset

- push in the on off switch
- choose program from dial
- press start/reset button
