I have been with Telewest for 12 months and now it seems they have been taken over by Virgin. What a con, I can't even get a signal on my telly now luckily this is still working. What is wrong with this world? Hilary

Virgin are aking Sky to court over all this - we're with sky anyway but I can imagine how frustating it must be.

virgin media as its now called GGRRRRRRRRRRRRR richard branson or virgin who ever it is IS taking sky to court infact i think they have already over the recent happenings with sky removing sky one sky news and another channel im waiting like crazy to find out the results as i want MY LOST BACK!!!!!!!! but on a plus side virgin media are great i forgot casualty was on last night and within 10mins of it ending they had it on the on demand straight away i was chuffed as normally you have to wait about 2 days.lol.. the only time we loose signal or get interference is when virgin are messing about and updating stuff ..lol.. COME BACK LOST I MISS YOUUUUUUUUUU..lmao..

Hilary get in touch with them you should have signal despite losing the odd SKY channels. We're Virgin Media and I'm very lucky as one of the lads at work has SKY so tapes me LOST and 24. Sorry Clair, do you want me to tell you what's happening

I`d get in contact with them Hilary, you should have been told that they`d changed their name to Virgin Media to, they took over Telewest and NTL which does the north cable. Course Sky are now pushing Virgin Media customers to join them now VM no longer has Sky channels, smack os trying to monopolise to me

Didnt you get any notice/letters of the takeover? We knew this was happening for ages as they sent us all letters months ago... our tv did go off for a few hours and they gave us free movies. I would call them and complain.. Good luck

We are with Virgin Media. My OH rang to complain & ask if they were going to reduce the price per month as we have lost some channels. For 7 quid extra a month, they have done the following: A free HD ready box (that you can record like sky plus) Free landline calls all the time (instead of just weekends) reduced mobile charges Some extra channels Upgraded the internet speed to 10mb (or what ever it is measured in) So a pretty good deal really. OH parents have Sky plus so they have been recording LOST & 24 for us. Thank god !

We have another box upstaires in my daughters room and that still says telewest for some reason lol We have HD and love it but its gone weird on us at the moment... No one likes complaints so i would make a few
