I just registered and wanted to say hello to everyone! I'm a new Lab owner. My pup is about 6 months. I've had Ike for about a month. He was abandoned near my home. After I was unable to find who he belonged to; I decided to keep him. I have four other pets besides Ike. I have 3 cats and another elderly beagle-mix. Because I have never had a Lab before, the experience has been somewhat overwhelming. He is so hyper! There are times when he is uncontrollable and that is what I am here for. I frequent another forum and they have all suggested obedience training. However, I live in a VERY small town in Ohio and an obedience trainer isn't in my area. Ike is a very sweet puppy. I just need some advice on controlling some of his behavior. Here is a recent picture of Ike...
