I need to trim the fluffy bits of the end of Sara tail

Is there a special way of doing this or should i leave it to an expert?

Thankyou Laughing Embarassed

I'm no expert but I just round off the tip with an ordinary pair of scissors, cut to the shape of the tail if that makes sense

Thanks Izmo do you mean like a half moon? Embarassed

Sonia, you have to trim the end for showing, the only reason i can think of is, it makes it look thicker, but then i could be totally wrong being a total novice Embarassed Laughing

I was going to take a picture of Molly's tail and put it here....but I forgot that my daughter has gone off with my camera for the weekend Sad

I hold the end of the tail and spread the ends out a bit and just trim around so that there is a nice even shape, a bit like you say, a half moon shape...

I'd never done it before until last summer, so just experiment and do a little bit at a time, it will always grow back if you don't do it right Shocked Laughing

Even thought Pheebs isn't a showdog, I trim her tail. It makes it look thicker and less scrawny if you know what I mean.

I hold the end of her tail in my clenched hand and fan out the hair by pressing it between my thumb and curve of my finger then basically trim round the shape of my thumb....hang on a sec and I'll get you a photo Wink
