Just wondering if anyone is going to the Shire Horse show sat or sun.... Its a great show and very well turned out... We are showing in the poultry section if you want to come and say hello
Sadly too far away, but I would LOVE to have been there ........... adore Shires, and even more those superb critters, Suffolk Punches ........ wonderful.

I haven't done before but I feel I must put it on the calendar for this year.
My cob was part Shire...a big hairy lad he was. My favourite heavy horses are Percherons, closely followed by Suffolk Punches....I prefer the clean legged ones...I think I spent far too many hours washing and clipping hairy legs for me to appreciate all those feathers now.

A1 from the North look out for signs for the Showground.... ditto from the south my god he's vague... he can drive blindfolded and still arrive where he needs to be..
No seriously it is signposted Showground and it is easy to find..
