I had all my wisdom teeth removed too as i was in agony as they were growign in (onyl had 3 though, explains a lot lol). 1 removed at dental hospital, 1 at dentist and 1 i had to be taken into hospital and have removed under GA.

What a relief it was i tell you!

Ooohh no you are all scaring me.
I'm supposed to be having my 3 removed in the summer, they are all impacted and have to be drilled out.
But I do remember the dentisit saying I could change my mind right up to the day I'm booked in.......
I am such a wimp!!

Really glad it all went well Lucie. You did sooooo well cos I know how scared you were. Well done!!

How long did it take? My dentist says it only takes a couple of minutes - is he telling the truth????????

I'm getting rather worried now and can't wait for it to be over. How long was it before you started to feel 'human' again??????

Wendy - I was probably 'out' for about 5 minutes maximum. I wasn't totally knocked out, it was like being drunk when I came round, but it only lasted for a couple of minutes. I managed to walk out without looking like a wino (that's a first!). Honestly, it was over before I knew it. Wink Do take a couple of paracetamol about 3 hrs afterwards though, because although you feel fine, it does ache a bit later on.

You'll be absolutely fine, honest Very Happy

Edited to say: I worked myself into such a state when the patients kept going in to see the dentist and none were coming out. I didn't realise there was a different exit - I thought I had an appt with Sweeney Todd Embarassed

Glad it all went well for you. I have had all my wisdom teeth out a few years ago and they were all impacted. I looked like a chipmunk for about a week!!

Your not there long Wendy, 1st one at dental hospital i was on chair for about 1/2hr coz everything they came near me with the needle i asked for 5 more mins! lol (plus its all students, they had to go get a actualy dentist as they were struggling to remove it), it was INSTANT relief i tell ya! 2nd time at dentist, was in 10 mins and out again, no pain (just the uncomfy feeling) and the 3rd time was the hospital i was in 30odd hours or so coz my stats all dropped too low as i dont react to GA very well.

You'll be fine Razz
