I have no intention of showing Herbie, but in watching Crufts, the thought did come to mind as to what would happen if a dog "has" to do a wee or a poo while in the show ring? Surely, if a dog has to go, then he/she has to go! Would the judge frown upon it and the competitor lose marks over it or is it an accepted thing?
Corbie did a poo in the Waggiest Tail class of last year's GT dog show I was desparately trying to get him to wag his tail a lot and then he starts going around in circles and I thought 'uh oh!' ... I was very embarrassed! He still managed to get a 2nd though
Showing is about the quality of the dogs conformation and movement. It is not judged on behaviour in any way except if the dog is so wriggly or leaps about and shifts around so much the judge can't see him properly, so wee'ing and poo'ing in the ring makes no difference whatsoever to the placings.
Now something performance related such as gundog working tests, field trials, obedience and so on you would lose a lot of marks and it would probably be enough to tip you out the placings even if you did everything else perfectly.
Wee'ing for example when working a male dog shows defieance and a lack of concentration on the job in hand if he is thinking about marking, bitches are marked less harshly for weeing as usually they only wee if they are desperate to, its not being defyant. It is the handlers responsibility to make sure the dog is empty before competing in performance events so if they then feel the desperate need to go, huge amounts of marks will be deucted and the handler only has himself to blame.

Thankfully is hasn't happened to me YET - BUT it can cause a bit of fun for the dogs following in the classes behind -as my two at least love to have their nose nailed to the floor at the best of times
Quite probably - as I say, its not marked down - infact some show judges might see THAT as 'showing personality' or 'animation' Now if that happened in a working test he would risk a zero immediately depending on the judge
