Hi All
You'll never guess what happened now. Steph's been award the Child of Courage Award by our local Rotary Club.
Were invited to a posh dinner and presentation at a rather large posh hotel nearby.
There will be at least 3 children that have been nominated and they will all receive an engraved plaque presented to them by the Mayor and a framed citation presented by the Rotary President.
Whatever next, what with Crufts last week and now this, sometimes I feel really guilty about Steph getting all this attention and that there must be other disabled children out there doing so much more and then on the other hand I think well if she doesnt put herself out there noone else is going to do it for her.
We've had such a rough few months with my OH loosing his job and having to sell our house, but he's now been offered a job at Bristol Airport and we've seen a really good house to rent and with Steph doing so well at Crufts we feel that maybe this is the turning point that we've been awaiting for.
Sorry for the long past but wanted to let all my friends on here know about it.
All the best.
Ann, Steve, Steph and Kimmy
____________ Kimmy you will always be our superstar, we love you
Congratulations and well done to you all! It just shows there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Dont feel guilty just enjoy it Im sure you all deserve it especially Steph as I bet she is really special.
Have a great time and don't feel guilty, its brilliant that Steph is able to represent other disabled children and make aware what fantastic companions dogs are!
