Some of you might be aware that Ann and myself have been in contact with each other now for a few months supporting each other when we have a "crisis"..We regularly speak on the phone and have daily emails..we live in Nottingham and Ann in Somerset...
Not only is Steph a fantastic young lady...but so is her mum (ann hope you like the young)...through no fault of their own Ann and Steve have been going through a "crisis" and now finally after a few long and stressful weeks....Steve has a new job and they have found a new house..
I would like to wish Ann,Steve,Steph and kimmy lots of luck and happiness in their new start....
Steph has the same grit and determination as her mum and Ann has been a true friend to me and my family....we were so proud to be included on sunday when Steph collected her medal....
Thanks Ann,Steve,Steph and Kimmy for allowing us to join in your celebrations...
Steph has proved that if you want something nothing is out of reach whether your disabled or able-bodied...
Love
Keren,Simon,Sam,Jack and Alfie.
Sorry for the long post...I just had to try to put it in words...
Firstly I would like to say Thanks Julie for making it a sticky.
Secondly, oh Keren (Barnsie) you dont know how much you have done for us by just being there at the end of a telephone line or at the end of the computer line.
It was a great pleasure to have you with us on Sunday especially as it was your Birthday. I defintely needed that loo roll at one point, but your shoulder was just as good.
Lets hope that we have now turned just corner its been a really horrible 6 months and we're hoping its now going to be behind us.
Well after reading what Keren put I had to get a tissue, Steve kept looking at me as if I was going mad.
I havent had many friends in my life and now I have two true friends, Jude (JudgeJude) and Keren (Barnsie)
Thank you so much Keren and thank you to everyone.
Ann, Steve, Steph and Kimmy
____________ Kimmy you will always be our superstar, we love you
Congratulations to you all - what wonderful photos - you must be so, so proud.
And what lovely words from you both Ann and Keren - a tear in my eye here too! I hope that things are more settled for you now and it's wonderful to see the friendship that you have built up through mutual support and understanding.
Take care all and thanks for sharing your day and photos.
