This morning i let charlie out and he peed for about 3 minutes without stopping. He went again an hour later and it was another long one. Since around 12 he has gone 5 times and each time a lot came out. He went twice in the house. He left a big puddle in the kitchen, the whole way through the hall and into the bathroom. I put him out and he peed again! My brother brought his dog over. Charlie usually pees a tiny bit when excited but when the dog came in it just poured out! And again it was a lot and he still went when i put him out. So i am wondering could it be a kidney infection maybe?

I would get a wee sample and take it to the vet. They should be able to tell if there is an infection of some sort. How much is he drinking and do you feed dry or wet food?

If you don't soak his food, then I guess a bowl of water isn't that much. With Bella & Shadow, I always soak their food and typically a bowl of water will last both of them the whole day (but bowl sizes do vary Wink )

If this has been happening for a few days and you are concerned, I would suggest you get a wee sample to the vet for testing. They will be able to tell if it is an infection or not.

Maybe a bit of a water infection and an early morning sample dropped off at the vet's will identify anything. If it is the ABs will soon sort it out. Bless him, he's probably uncomfortable, sending some vibes to help ... Sad
