Just a foot note to this story, which I must admit made me shake my head a little. But I guess it takes all sorts Rolling Eyes

The very very nice dog warden called me back this afternoon to say that the spaniel had been collected and he had given the owner lots of advice on id for the dog - tags, microchipping and even tattooing.

He said he explained how/where the dog had been found and offered my name and phone number to the Owner in case she wanted to call and thank me herself, to which she said a very firm 'No thanks'!! Shocked

pmsl .. maybe it is just me but if the roles were reversed I would be on the phone thanking her profusely, but maybe she thinks I'll demand a reward or something Confused

Anyway each to their own. I am just so glad the poor mite is back home Very Happy
