Ok, bit sketchy....  alledgedly a local family moved to the area 3 days ago....while moving into the empty property they found Max sitting in a back bedroom 
He wouldn't budge and as the family didn't know the area they hung onto him for 3 days. Then they saw the posters. They texted Max's owner this morning and he was returned at 8am. Max was clean, clearly well fed and pleased to be home.
BUT the condition he has come home in implies he has been chasing a bitch on heat. His complete genitalia is stuck out. Been out for we don't know how long, but a minimum of 2 hours since he has been back, how long before that we don't know...hours? days? but much longer than is safe, badly swollen and won't retract. *Is this why the text came? *
Advised how to ' help ' him but said if no joy in 15 mins he MUST get to the vet asap as he might need sedation / surgery, if no appointment just get in car and go, call when on way saying be there in 5 mins.....
Don't know.... has he been ' performing ' all the time, then this problem arose?
Or was an owner walking a bitch on heat (  ) and he took chase?

Doing routine ' surfing ' and finishing answering emails from yesturday
