That's brilliant news. I'm really pleased for you Karen

He's definitely been in the best place as I know he's 'a bit excitable lol' Laughing Laughing and it's just not worth risking any injury to his new hip. These first few weeks are so crucial to his long term future

Huge thank you Georgia for keeping everyone updated for me and another to you all for your kindness, daft mare that I am, I get quite depressed coming on here without my boy sat by me Sad

as for Jake...
He is doing fine now after his set back at the weekend his specialist Hugo thinks Jake is lovely but VERY excitable, hee hee we did try to tell him Laughing Because of this, he wants his pain relief managed at just the right dose, to much and he will forget it hurts, and stands the possibility of hurting himself, not enough and he would be in unbearably pain, he also wants to work out a sedative for him to work with the pain relief but not knock him out.... Personally I would love it if he could sleep for the next 7 weeks I am dreading that bit.

doting dad has been working like a Trojan getting the house and garden ready for Jake's home coming, has has a small area just outside the back door 9 paving slabs 3sq with a picket fence round, a ramp down the step from the door, a hose to wash it all down with and keep it clean, and he went out and choose the worst carpet you have ever seen to lay in the kitchen over the tiles...... I told Gareth that Jake would love to see the house finished and painted, with new windows to lighten his world and how much he would appreciate laying in a conservatory... but he wouldn't have it Laughing Laughing

Glad Jake is doing well. I thought we had our hands full when Penny had her TPOs for her hips but a replacement is something else entirely. Hope he'll be home soon.
