well earlier today as sonas was rolling around on the floor with all on show, i noticed a swelling under her skin in the nipple area. I went to have a closer inspection and you can feel hard mass under there!!! I got in such a panic and phoned the vet straight away. My husband is at work and I have noone to calm me down! I am so glad we got an appointment so quickly I have never had to take a pet to the vet for anything other than routine checks innoculations etc so I thought it would be like the docs - 3 weeks before you get seen. She had her season late nove onto early december shehas been fine since no sign of a phantom or anything like that. She seems fine in herself at the moment in her usual space on the sofa!! Laughing is this common? has anyone had this happen to thier dog? I will attach a phot but the quality is not great as it s my camera phone indoors. thanks.

Karen, don't panic love!! Pheebs has one of these that has really grown since her season - the vet says it will go down once her hormones are settled.

Bless lovely Sonas - give her a big puppy wrestle from Pheebs and a hug from me - plus take one for yourself! Very Happy xxxx

Oh it looks like she's producing a little milk there....I doubt it's anything anymore serious than that. I know my Lurcher could produce milk at the drop of a hat, which came in very handy more than once with her fostering kittens. She has that double nipple thing going on too, same place but on the other side, it was blind though (no milk ever came out of it). Wink
