I have just spoken to my daughter again and she has checked with her insurer and they have clarified as follows.

Apparently they WILL cover hip dysplasia providing both parents have very low hip scores - did not specify numbers at the time - and that Ella must have a hip score below 12, I assume that means a combined score.

As Ella is a rescue dog, my daughter does not have her pedigree, so does not have the parents hip scores. Phew - bit of a minefield.

Fay

I've just come across this conversation, and was wondering whether anyone knows if Pet Plan still cover Hip Dysplasia. When we took the insurance out 4 months ago we never noticed any exclusions.

Thanks

Gill
