Yep. Half brother to my Anna! Solid working lines, bred by Billy Steel Jr of Lanarkshire, Scotland

Sired by Baildonian Baron Of Craighorn, third in the IGL Retriever Championship 1997 and presently owned by Mike Stewart at the Wildrose kennels in America. Have a look at:-

http://www.uklabs.com/sires/baron_profile.pdf

The bitch line, dam, FT ch Kenue Cedar includes some lovely working dogs including HM The Queen's Sandringham Magpie.

Regards, John

At a quick count I make it 31 Field Trials Champions in the 5 generation pedigree, plus another 4 Field Trials winners!

For the record, this is his half sister, my Anna (with my sister) who is now almost 9 years old and spends the winters out working in the field with me.

She looks lovely!
Holly already has a lot of Drakeshead and grand sire is prickwillow mogul.
She really is a true field lab, she isnt happy unless shes fetching you a toy, a sock, your keys, a ball, the mail!
I think he would really compliement her pedigree and looks but I still have others to rule out and will need to meet him!

What are you opinions of mixing field x show labs?

Mogul's grandsire was Aughacasla Sam Of Drakeshead, my Amy's grandsire. A dog who really passed his working genes on!

If a show bitch is put to a working dog the result is often a nice looking pup with brains!

Can you tell me, has you bitch been DNA tested for PRA? You can PM me the answer if you prefer, or ignore if you dont want to answer.

This is the granddaughter of Sam at 9 months old.

No she hasn't and I am considering getting her tested or choosing a dog that has been tested. I have been speaking with Gail at Carriegame labs also, about Henry who has been tested.
There is a lot to consider thats why im trying to get as much info as I can, if I cant find it in a book, read it on the net, I ask!!
Do you know much about Drakeshead Tobias - hollys g/dam?

If you don't mind, I'm going to change to PM, not specifically about the last dog you mentioned, but just some details I think you would like to know. If you dont mind I'll PM you later this evening. Please let me know if you would rather I did not.

Regards, John
